WHAT IS THE READ TABLE TOOL?
This tools tracks the hex address of a crash to desktop (CTD).
USING THE READ TABLE TOOL:
1. Download ReadTable_Win98_v2.0.zip from the TSH website.
2. Extract ReadTable.exe to any location.
3. Run ReadTable.exe.
4. Point the program to F18.exe (by default located at C:\Program Files\Jane's Combat Simulations\FA-18). Jane's F-18 will start.
5. Run the sim until you have a CTD.
6. Program output is in a file called readtable.txt, located in the root directory of your C drive.
7. Start a new thread on the TSH forums with a description of what caused the CTD and the contents of readtable.txt enclosed in [code] [/code] tags.

WHAT IS THE READ TABLE TOOL?

USING THE READ TABLE TOOL:
1. Download ReadTable_WinXP_v2.0.zip from the TSH website.
2. Extract the contents of the .zip to any location other than a Jane's F-18 folder.
3. Run WDBG.exe.
4. Click on File > Open.
5. Navigate to the F18.exe executable (by default located at C:\Program Files\Jane's Combat Simulations\FA-18), select it, and press the "Open" button.
6. Press F5. Jane's F-18 will start.
7. Run the sim until you have a CTD.
8. Close the program; it is not necessary to save the file.
9. Program outputs are in files called activemodule.txt,activethread.txt, and readtable.txt, all located in the root directory of your C drive.
10. Start a new thread on the TSH forums with a description of what caused the CTD and the contents of the above files enclosed in [code] [/code] tags.
